About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division. The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work in Iowa (Harrison, Mills, and Pottawattamie Counties) and Nebraska (Cass, Douglas, Sarpy, Saunders, and Washington Counties).

The wage determination (No. 2015-5005, Revision 28, effective 3/30/2026) lists over 200 occupational classifications organized by occupational category codes, with hourly rates ranging from $12.74 (Lifeguard) to $53.85 (Cable Splicer). All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, $222.00 weekly, or $962.00 monthly), or $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13706 for paid sick leave. Employees receive two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after eight years, and five weeks after 20 years. A minimum of eleven paid holidays annually is mandated, including New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Special provisions apply to computer professionals (exempt if earning at least $27.63 per hour and meeting specific primary duty requirements), air traffic controllers and weather observers (night differential and Sunday pay), hazardous material workers (4-8 percent differential), and uniformed employees (uniform allowance of $3.35 per week or $0.67 daily). Contractors may request conformance for unlisted occupations through SF-1444 submission within 30 days of contract award.
