About this file

This document is an Industry Day presentation for the SATMO Ground Technical Assistance and Training Multiple Award Contract II (Ground MATOC II) by the Army Contracting Command (ACC) Orlando. The current contract, originally competed between 2015-2017, selected five contractors with a $249M total ceiling and a 10-year performance period ending in September 2027. The upcoming Ground MATOC II aims to continue this contract, with a desired award date of August-September 2027.

The procurement strategy is still in development, with market research ongoing. The government expects robust competition for base awards under FAR 15, projecting 5-7 contractors to ensure continuous task order competition under FAR 16.505. Small business participation is being evaluated through market research, with no automatic set-aside for small businesses. The tentative schedule includes drafting the Request for Proposal (RFP) in the 3rd quarter of FY26 and finalizing it in the 3rd/4th quarter of FY26. The Industry Day serves as the first step in market research, with potential for additional information requests and industry meetings.
