Questions & Answers US Embassy Ljubljana
S-AQMMA-09-R0159
Q&A #3 11-20-2009
Question1: Are guards allowed into the Chancery/Embassy?
Answer 1: They are not allowed access unless there is a need determined by and coordinated through RSO.
Question 2: Do the Marines provide any security for the facilities?
Answer 2: The Marines conduct the same security procedures and protocols at the US Embassy in Ljubljana as they do at all other US Embassy where they are assigned.
Question3: I was one of the attendees on the 12th of NOV 2009, for the Site Visit regarding Local Guard Services to Ljubljana, Slovenia, Solicitation S-AQMMA-09-R0159, at the US Embassy in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In reviewing the notes presented to us, it states “Please provide all questions in written format and direct them to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Sharon James”. However, there is no e-mail address provided. I have examined FBO.gov and the only contact info I can find is the following:
Primary Point of Contact.:
Tracy Babst-Wiedenbrug, Contract Specialist babst-wiedenbrugtx@state.gov
Secondary Point of Contact:
Shapleigh Drisko, Contracting Officer driskosc@state.gov
Can you please provide the contact information for Ms. James for the submission of questions? Also, I was wondering when would the meeting minutes be posted?
Answer3: Ms. James’ address is jamessd@state.gov. Although you will address your questions to her, please cc the Contract Specialist Ms. Tracy Babst-Wiedenbrug.
