About this file

This document is a Salient Characteristics document for a Hard-wired Aircraft Power Panel, detailing specific technical requirements for a power panel to be delivered to the 79th RGS. The electrical requirements specify a three-phase input of 380-480V at 50/60 Hz with a full load input current of 93A, and an output of 115V L-N / 200V L-L at 400 Hz. Key features include a built-in maintenance diagnostic system, digital touch screen control panel, external USB communications port, internal step-up transformer, and input surge protection meeting IEEE C62.41 Category B standards.

The power panel comes with a one-year warranty and includes accessories such as a 60-foot AC output cable with an aircraft plug and safety interlock, and a floor or wall-mounted cable saddle or automatic reel. Additional requirements mandate installation and electrical connection services. The system is designed to be hard-wired into existing electrical infrastructure, with features like an AC output contactor with aircraft safety interlock, 5% maximum AC input current distortion, and an electronic operator and maintenance manual to support its operation and maintenance.
