Text version

The purpose of Amendment 0005 to RFQ S5121A-21-Q-0003 for the AED Program Management Services is to provide the answers to the following questions received from industry on May 25, 2021:

Question 1: Please confirm if the DCMA AED new solicitation for bids due June 4th is strictly 100% set aside for small businesses?

Answer 1: RFQ S5121A-21-Q-0003 for DCMA’s AED Program Management Services is now being competed on a full and open basis, and is no longer a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside; in other words any size business can compete because the total small business set aside has been dissolved.

Question 2: Once consumable items are ordered by DCMA who will place them with the AED, DCMA or the Vendor?

Answer 2: DCMA will place the consumables.

Question 3: Is DCMA wanting any on-site inspections to be conducted by the Vendor?

Answer 3: DCMA neither requests nor requires on-site inspections.
