Text version

The purpose of Amendment 0002 to RFQ S5121A-A-21-Q-0003 for the AED Program Management Services is to provide the answers to the following questions received from industry on April 19, 2021:

Question 1: Will training take place at each individual location or will all trainees come to one location for training? (Reference CLIN 0005; RFQ Page 25)

Answer 1: Please refer to Subsections 1.4.3; 1.4.4, 1.6.4 & 1.6.6 of the PWS.

Question 2: Is the Government requesting a cost to provide 4000 additional AEDs, oversight of installation and supplies in these Line Items on the proposal? Is this item a part of the base bid?

(Reference CLIN 0007; RFQ Page 23)

Answer 2: No, the Government is not requesting a quote as this is a not-to-exceed (NTE) Contract Line Item. The Government does not expect the price to exceed the “NTE” price without prior approval from the Contracting Officer and/or Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).

Question 3: Please clarify what is meant by the word OPT a these locations? Are these items optional?

Listed away from the Base Bid? (Reference CLINS 1007, 2007, 3007, 4007 OPT; RFQ Pages 27, 30, 34 & 37)

Answer 3: The word “Option” means that the government has the option to exercise the CLINs mentioned in the question, if there is a need. If those Option CLINs are exercised, the Government does not expect the price to exceed the “NTE” price without prior approval from the Contracting Officer and/or Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
