About this file
This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, applicable to the Charter School Authorizer Evaluation contract opportunity solicited by the SPCSA (State Public Charter School Authority) in Nevada. The form serves as a mandatory certification requirement for vendors participating in this state and local contract opportunity. Bidders must complete and submit this certification as a prerequisite for contract award, confirming their compliance with federal lobbying restrictions and disclosure requirements.
The certification requires the authorized vendor representative to attest that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be used to influence federal officers, employees, Members of Congress, or Congressional staff in connection with the contract award. Vendors must disclose any non-federal funds used for lobbying purposes by submitting Standard Form-LLL in accordance with its instructions. The form mandates that all subcontractors and sub-recipients at all tiers include identical certification language in their award documents and certify compliance accordingly. Failure to file the required certification subjects vendors to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 per violation. The certification constitutes a material representation of fact and is imposed pursuant to section 1352, U.S. Code.
