About this file

This document is a policy issued by the Massachusetts Department of Correction, providing guidelines for the management and supervision of contract personnel, including consultants, contractors, and employees of other public and private agencies, who provide services to the Department. The policy outlines the roles and responsibilities of contract personnel, as well as the screening, orientation, and monitoring processes that must be followed. All contract personnel are subject to the Department's policies and procedures, including a criminal record review, and must agree to maintain the confidentiality of information as required by state law. The Department's division managers are responsible for ensuring that contract personnel meet the specified requirements and are properly supervised to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

The related state and local contract opportunity involves the procurement of an ironer product, though the specific details of the contract, such as quantities, response dates, and award information, are not provided in the given information.
