S02_Attachment - Headstone Locations by Section.xlsx

This is a Headstone Locations by Section spreadsheet attachment for the Houston National Cemetery containing detailed gravesite layout plans across multiple sections (G4, M1, M2, N1, N3, N4, N5, O, P, and Q). The document displays comprehensive mapping of gravesite inventory by section, including status designations for each plot: occupied gravesites (marked "O"), reserved gravesites (marked "R"), available gravesites (marked "A"), and obstructed gravesites (marked "G"). Each section provides summary statistics on the total number of developed gravesites, occupied gravesites, available gravesites, reserved gravesites, and obstructed gravesites. For example, Section G4 contains 1,299 developed gravesites with 733 occupied and 523 available, while Section M1 contains 1,948 developed gravesites with 1,939 occupied and zero available. Section P shows the largest inventory with 2,189 developed gravesites, of which 2,173 are occupied with only one available. The spreadsheet serves as a resource planning and inventory management tool for the Department of Veterans Affairs National Cemetery Administration's Houston National Cemetery, National Shrine Project, enabling tracking of burial capacity and plot allocation across the entire cemetery grounds.
