About this file
This is a template for FAR 52.225-6 Trade Agreements Certificate required in federal solicitations.
The provision establishes certification requirements for offerors regarding the country of origin of end products being supplied. Offerors must certify that each end product is either U.S.-made or a designated country end product, except for those specifically listed as other end products. Any supplies that do not meet U.S.-made or designated country criteria must be identified in a table format that includes the line item number and country of origin. The Government evaluates offers according to Part 25 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and, for items covered by the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement (WTO GPA), will evaluate U.S.-made or designated country end products without regard to Buy American statute restrictions. Award consideration is limited to offers containing U.S.-made or designated country end products unless the Contracting Officer determines that no such offers exist or that available offers are insufficient to meet solicitation requirements. The document is identified as tailorable and effective February 2021.
