End suction pumps are located on the 2nd floor.
Spoke to the boiler tech: several of the secondary chill water pumps have been replaced in the last 6 months.
Boiler tech said all variable speed drives for secondary chilled water pumps have been replaced in the last 6 months.
Boiler tech said several of the pump isolation valves are stuck. Valves are not capable of isolating pumps and have to be frozen or chilled water plant must be shut down.
Chilled water flow meters are not set up to trend data according to boiler tech. Review of the graphics indicate that several of the meters are not reading back to the control system. Bernard (COR) said he has a Siemens project and will verify if something is being done in that project.
Bernard the COR will provide plans to add a third boiler that is in construction. This project is connecting to the Flue exhaust that is to be rerouted in the building 44 HVAC project.

Pumps 5A and 5B, 5A has been replaced in the last year. However corrosion at the suction diffuser upstream of the flex connector is apparent. Recommend replacing valve to the flex connector on the suction side and from the strainer combination valve to the outlet of the pump. Additionally pump 5A has not been grouted. Recommend resetting the grounding or replacing pump. Additionally, condensation is all over the place. Recommend not insulating suction diffuser and pump and adding a drain pan catch condensate and deal with it appropriately.
Pump 5B this pump has a replacement that is sitting in the corner however has not been replaced due to the isolation valve being stuck open the handle is corroded and is recommended to be replaced. Below our pictures of 5A and 5B isolation valve
