557-20-105, Construction of EHRM Infrastructure Data Center Upgrades Scope of Work Carl Vinson VA Medical Center Dublin, GA 31021

Work hours 7 to 4:30 Monday through Thursday with afterhours work allowed for outages to address utilities. Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, and supervision to construct “557-20-105 EHRM Infrastructure Data Center Upgrades” at the Carl Vinson VAMC, Dublin, GA. Work will include general construction activities to renovate area of Building 40, for EHRM implementation at 1826 Veterans Blvd. Dublin, GA 31021. This project is A/E designed and all work will be in accordance with drawings and specifications given to the contractor by the VA. The project deployment will be implemented in a logical sequence with proper recommended phasing of installation and cutover activities for the new Data Center infrastructure. The design will allow for continued and uninterrupted network access for the Dublin VAMC. See the project phasing plans and additional telecommunications specific phasing note on the T series drawings in cooperation with the local VA organizations and stakeholders. In addition, all work will be accomplished in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal codes, guidelines, and regulations governing such work. Award of contract is subject to availability of funds. Work to be complete within 460 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.

A. ITEM I, BASE BID – GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Work includes selective demolition, general construction, and alterations (including necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items). Work includes all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to perform the required demolition and construction work on this project including Architectural Modifications, Fire Protection Systems, Plumbing Systems, Mechanical Systems, Electrical Systems, and Telecommunication Systems as described in the Specifications and indicated on the Construction Documents. Work to be complete within 460 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
