About this file
This document is a Contractor License Form for the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority's McGhee Tyson Airport Runway 5R-23L Rehabilitation - Project 2, issued for bid on March 23, 2025, in Alcoa, Tennessee. The form outlines specific Tennessee statutory requirements for contractors bidding on public projects, mandating that bidders must include their name, license number, license expiration date, and license classification on the sealed bid envelope or within electronic bid documents for prime contracts, masonry contracts exceeding $100,000, or electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, or geothermal contracts exceeding $25,000.
The form emphasizes strict compliance, stating that any bid submitted without the required licensing information will be considered void and non-responsive. Only one contractor per listed classification is permitted to be noted on the bid envelope or electronic document. The regulatory requirements aim to ensure that contractors are properly licensed and qualified to perform specific types of work on the airport runway rehabilitation project, with clear guidelines about the monetary thresholds that trigger additional licensing documentation.
