About this file

This is Addendum One to a solicitation issued by the City of Cheyenne, Wyoming for various roof replacement projects across multiple municipal facilities including the George Cox Parking Garage, Ice and Event Center, Records Building, Pioneer Park Center, Spiker Parking Garage, and Street and Alley Building. The addendum, dated June 10, 2026, clarifies project specifications and drawings ahead of the June 23, 2026 bid deadline at 2:00 p.m. The addendum includes revised demolition and roof plans for George Cox Parking Garage with relocated downspout locations, updated roof plans for Pioneer Park Center with a new roof ladder addition, and revised roof details for Pioneer Park with additional detail specifications. A pre-bid conference was held on May 29, 2026, with attendee sign-in sheets and agenda documentation included. Bidders were required to submit approval requests at least ten calendar days prior to bidding, though this deadline had passed at the time of the addendum issuance. All bids must be submitted through the City's procurement portal by the specified deadline.

The addendum establishes that John Mansville 60 Mil. EPDM Roofing System is not approved as a substitute, while the project specifications are based on Carlisle Roofing Products with provisions allowing bidders to propose alternative EPDM systems upon approval, with the understanding that any required modifications to details remain the contractor's responsibility at no additional cost. The contractor is responsible for repairing fire proofing on the underside of the Ice and Event Center roof if damaged during work. All bids must include bid security in the form of a bond or cashier's check. General notes specify that the contractor must verify existing conditions, achieve minimum 1/4-inch per foot roof slope for adequate drainage, maintain Class A roof assembly standards, legally dispose of demolished materials, provide a 90 miles per hour wind speed warranty, and coordinate all site access and staging with the owner. The contractor must also maintain daily logs and submit applications for payment with required documentation to avoid processing delays.
