About this file

This document is a Notice of Intent to Award a Contract issued by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, State Procurement Services (DAS SPS) for RFP S-10700-00013266 for Claims Services. The procurement covers four service categories: Independent Claims Adjusting, Origin and Cause Services, Forensic Engineering Accounting Services, and Forensic Accounting Services. Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. was selected as the apparent successful proposer for Categories B, C, and D, while Crawford & Company, Inc., Frontier Adjusters, Inc., and Allied Universal Compliance and Investigations, Inc. were selected for Category A. The evaluation was conducted using a points-based system, with proposers needing a minimum of 700 points to be eligible for a Master Services Agreement. A seven-calendar day protest period is in effect, with all protests required to be submitted in writing via email by 5:00 p.m. PT on July 1, 2025.

The evaluation scores revealed competitive rankings across categories, with Sedgwick consistently performing strongly: scoring 850 in Category A, 711 in Category B, 880 in Category C, and 872 in Category D. Other notable performers included Crawford & Company and Frontier Adjusters. The document indicates a comprehensive procurement process that allows proposers to submit for single or multiple service categories, with a focus on detailed technical and pricing evaluations. While specific contract values are not disclosed, the potential for a multi-year agreement and the breadth of services suggest a significant procurement opportunity for the selected vendors.
