About this file

This is a bid tabulation document from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District 3 for Emergency Service Patrol services on Route 25 for North/South locations on an as-needed basis. The solicitation, issued as Invitation to Bid (ITB) Number DOT-ITB-26-3012-CS, sought qualified service providers to deliver incident management and traffic control operations across designated service areas. Bids were due on March 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM, with the bid opening witnessed by authorized FDOT personnel. The posting period for the bid tabulation results extended from March 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM through March 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The contract is awarded on an as-needed basis without a specified fixed term.

Three bidders submitted proposals for this procurement: Eastern Diesel Auto Wrecker Service at $150.00, Garrett's Automotive, Inc. at $285.00, and White's Wrecker Service, LLC at $140.00. White's Wrecker Service, LLC received the intended award as the apparent low bidder. The evaluation was conducted by Chad Williams, with the award determination made in accordance with Florida Statutes Section 287.084 regarding in-state preference provisions. The award is contingent upon the vendor's compliance with all bid requirements, including submission of required bonds and insurance documentation. The Department reserves the right to reject the award if irregularities are discovered or if the vendor fails to meet contractual obligations, in which case the award may be offered to the second-low bidder or all bids may be rejected at the Department's discretion.
