Number Response Question 1 Is this a re-compete of an existing effort?
If so, is the contract number(s) available for look up in betaSAM?
Is there an incumbent contract(s) for this work?
Answer 1 This is not a recompete. This is a new requirement to establish a brand new MAC IDIQ without incumbent contracts;
however, several companies currently perform similar work to this on other contract vehicles outside of the local contracting office
Question 2 Is this potentially putting under one program, various requirements that were previously fulfilled separately?
Is this planned IDIQ a result of a combination of multiple current contracts?
Answer 2 Previously individual delivery/task orders that would fall under the scope of this new IDIQ were accomplished separately via other contract vehicles. This new MAC IDIQ will span several programs within the Range Branch here at Hill AFB.
Question 3 Are there any kind of Organization Conflict of Interest (OCI) can be expected to be included with this contract that may prevent other contracting opportunities?
Answer 3 No Organization Conflict of Interests which would prevent other opportunities are expected at this time
Question 4 The second paragraph after the introduction discusses “O&M -3400 Funding”, how does this relate to the various current Air Force ranges [Eglin, PTR, Melrose, CRTC, JPARC, EWOTIM/Polygone, ACTS and other] that O&M threat radar systems?
Answer 4 Same type of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) 3400 funding that other Air Force bases utilize for O&M type acquisitions.
Question 5 Can you provide clarification of what “Sample Breakout of Locations” in paragraph 12 means?
Answer 5 "Sample Breakout of Locations" refers to the geographical location in which work was performed for previous programs.
