About this file

The document is an Attachment D Cost Proposal (RFQQ 5298) for an interior signage contract issued by UW Medicine, covering Harborview Medical Center, University of Washington Medical Center, and UW Physicians Network Primary Care facilities in Washington State. The solicitation seeks a signage contractor to design, fabricate, deliver, and install interior signs including identification, regulatory, stairwell, elevator, and blade signs across multiple medical campuses, with orders to be placed on an as-needed basis. The proposal includes detailed pricing structures for various sign types with quantities ranging from 1-12 units per sign category.

The cost proposal outlines labor rates for design, layout, and installation, with differentiated pricing for standard work hours (Monday-Friday), evening and Saturday work, and Sunday/holiday rates. Prevailing wage requirements from Washington State Labor and Industries are specified, and bidders are requested to provide their best offered rates. The document provides unit cost tables for standard sample signs across three medical facilities, allowing potential contractors to submit precise pricing for different sign types and quantities. UW Medicine reserves the right to modify the attachment and expects contractors to comply with prevailing wage standards for appropriate trades.
