About this file
The Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC) has issued Amendment #1 to a Request for Quotes-Formal (RFQF) for a Reverse Auction soliciting bids for equipment, specifically one (1) new Digger Derrick Truck, one (1) Bucket Truck, one (1) LeeBoy Asphalt Paver, and one (1) Tandem Roller (HD 10C VV). The amendment, dated March 25, 2025, updates the timeline for key procurement activities, including emailing qualified bidders from April 12-14, 2025, and conducting bid evaluations from April 28-29, 2025. The bid submission deadline is set for Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 12:00 pm CST.
The most significant change in this amendment is the modification of the partial bidding policy. Previously, bids were required to be all-or-none, but the amendment now allows bidders to submit quotes for individual line items. Bidders are not required to bid on all equipment but may include multiple items in their bid. MDOC will evaluate and consider bids for each line item separately. Potential bidders can find additional information on the MDOC website and the Mississippi Accountability System for Government Information and Collaboration (MAGIC), and can contact Princess Hayes at procurement@mdoc.state.ms.us or 601-359-5600 for further details.
