About this file

This is a Notice of Decision to Reject All Replies issued by the Florida Department of Management Services (DMS), Division of Real Estate Development and Management, on April 9, 2026, regarding Request for Qualifications (RFQ) REDM2526-08 for Engineering Services for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Services for the Northwest Florida Region Continuing Contract. The RFQ sought qualified engineering firms to provide comprehensive MEP services for projects throughout Florida, including new construction and renovations involving heating, ventilation, air conditioning, building control systems, plumbing, fire protection, power systems, lighting, low voltage and medium voltage service, and fire alarm facility assessments. The original solicitation was posted on February 3, 2026, with a response deadline of March 5, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The Department had planned to select at least three firms for interviews and presentations on April 16, 2026, with the selection committee's recommended selections to be posted by April 21, 2026, and an anticipated contract start date of August 31, 2026. The continuing contract structure would have allowed DMS to utilize selected firms for projects across Florida.

The Department has rejected all replies received in response to the RFQ and intends to resolicit the services at a later date. No pricing information, set-asides, incumbents, or specific funding amounts were disclosed in the available solicitation materials.
