1.

The Northwest Florida RFQ states in Section 1: General Description that “these contracts may be utilized for projects anywhere in the State of Florida.” We recently submitted qualifications for the Northeast Florida MEP Continuing Contract, which includes the same statewide utilization language. Please confirm whether the Northeast and Northwest Florida solicitations are considered separate and independent contracts requiring separate submittals, or whether submission (or award) under one regional solicitation affects eligibility, submission requirements, or award consideration under the other.

Each Region is a separate solicitation and contract. If a firm is not awarded for one Region, they may submit for another Region to be considered. Submitting under one Region does not affect eligibility, requirements, or award consideration for the other Regions. However, if a firm has been awarded in a Region, we respectfully request they do not submit for another Region under the same contract-type. If a firm is awarded for one Region while a solicitation is in process for another Region, we would respectively request they withdraw from the active solicitation.
