About this file

This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) for a 46-ton delivery of 20-5-15-7 fertilizer to the Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area. The fertilizer must be delivered between October 15 and October 31, 2021 with at least 3 days' notice, and multiple deliveries of up to 20 tons each may be requested. The fertilizer must be in granular form from conventional sources and be accompanied by power augers or a conveyor for offloading. The fertilizer application is critical to manage improved pasture lands and maximize big game forage as outlined in the Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area Long Range Management Plan.

The RFQ requires bidders to provide a unit cost and total cost, with all pricing to be held firm for 30 days. The ODFW will determine if any alternate products offered are equal to the specified fertilizer. The RFQ is open to certified firms in Oregon, and the ODFW encourages businesses to obtain COBID certification to grow their business in Oregon.
