About this file

This is a Scope of Work document from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for roof replacement projects at John Bryan State Park in Yellow Springs, OH. The project involves replacing roofs on two buildings: the Maintenance Shop (approximately 3,458 square feet plus 135 square foot attached shed) and the Fuel Storage Building (approximately 170 square feet). The work requires installation of Lifetime Warranty 3-Dimensional fiberglass shingles and associated materials including felt, wrap, ice shield, nails, vents, drip edge, and flashing boots. Work must be completed by May 31, 2025, during business hours Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4 PM. Site visits are required prior to bid submission and must be arranged with the Park Manager.

This opportunity is designated as an MBE set-aside in accordance with ORC 125.081. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on low lot total, which will be calculated by multiplying unit costs by estimated usage. Bidders must provide examples of two similar completed projects with photos and references, and complete a pre-award meeting with DNR staff. Additional lumber repairs discovered during roof removal will be quoted separately per board/foot and invoiced separately upon project completion. All invoices must be submitted to Ohio Shared Services with specific required information and documentation.
