Washington Convention Center (5 ATMs). The RFQ was released on November 24, 2025, with questions due by December 1, 2025, and responses due by December 8, 2025. The selected contractor will provide all installation, maintenance, cash handling, and customer service for the ATMs, which are expected to process approximately 1,500 to 2,000 transactions annually at CareFirst Arena and 5,000 transactions annually at the Convention Center. The contract will commence upon award and run through September 30, 2026 (Base Year), with four additional one-year renewal options available. Events DC will provide floor space, electrical power, and telephone lines, while the contractor bears all other operational costs except electricity.
Bidders must possess at least five years of experience installing and servicing ATMs in large buildings with heavy foot traffic and employ service technicians with equivalent experience. Pricing will be evaluated on a per-transaction commission basis, with the lowest aggregate overall price over the contract life determining the award. The contractor must remit monthly commission payments to Events DC within 20 days of each month's close and submit transaction reports by the 15th of the following month. Small and Local Business Enterprise (CBE) certifications qualify for preference points up to a maximum of 12 points, including designations for small business enterprises, resident-owned businesses, longtime resident businesses, local business enterprises, disadvantaged business enterprises, veteran-owned businesses, and equity impact enterprises. Submission requirements include completion of the Quote Form, W-9, tax certification, DSLBD certification (if applicable), customer references, and a Clean Hands Report. All responses must be submitted in both hard copy and electronic formats via the e-procurement system, and quotes must remain firm for 90 days.
