About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell Air Force Base for the procurement of a Lasergraphics ScanStation 6.5K Archival Film Scanner system. The Air Force Historical Research Agency requires a complete, turnkey motion picture film scanning system to digitize analog film assets to archival standards for long-term preservation and research access. The RFQ includes two line items: the scanner system itself (CLIN 0001) and on-site installation with comprehensive training for up to four personnel over three days (CLIN 0002), with delivery to Building 1405 at Maxwell AFB.
This is a 100% small business set-aside with competitive firm-fixed pricing, issued August 27, 2026, with a same-day deadline of 1:00 p.m. CDT for quote submission. Award will be made to the lowest-priced offeror meeting minimum requirements, with acceptability determined by confirmation that Lasergraphics brand items are provided. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), submit a realistic delivery date, confirm country of origin, and provide Buy American certification if applicable. Quotes should include unit and extended prices and be submitted via email to SrA Malik Bacon (malik.bacon@us.af.mil, 334-953-2253) and Contracting Officer Jeremy Kersey (jeremy.kersey.1@us.af.mil, 334-953-3526). Price reasonableness will be evaluated based on anticipated competitive offers.
