Attachment 1 Statement of Work
Background: The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC or Agency) requires tree removal services (Services) for 25 Douglas Fir trees at the site for the new Warehouse/Disbursement Facility located in Canby Oregon. The property is located next to the Zoar Cemetery at 179 S. Walnut Street, Canby, Oregon 97013. Selected Offeror shall provide full service tree removal Services, including tree, limb and stump removal from project site. Tree stumps, root flare and surface roots within a four-inch radius of the stumps shall be ground down to a depth of 16 inches (unless there are underground utilities). All debris created from performance of the Services shall be removed from the site and disposed of in accordance with public laws and rules regarding tree and debris removal. Note: There are two stumps located on the adjacent property that the property owner may wish to have removed at the same time as the Services under any resulting contract with OLCC are underway. Any such agreement between the selected company and the other property owner shall not be considered any part of the contract between OLCC and the company selected from this solicitation. Refer to the attached pictures of the site and trees, and specifically picture #3 to see the stumps on the adjacent property.
To ensure that all offerors have the same understanding of the Services required and the work site, OLCC will be holding a mandatory site visit. Anyone who wishes to submit a quote for these services must attend this site visit. The date and time of the mandatory site visit is November 6, 2024 from 2-2:30 pm. OLCC will have a representative on site to check in any attendees. Offerors must legibly sign in on the attendance sheet with full company name, attendee’s name, phone number and email address. Contact information that cannot be deciphered will be deemed unacceptable and any quote provided afterward will be rejected. Any offer received by an offeror who did not attend the mandatory site visit will be rejected.
Project Timeline: The project shall commence within one week following the execution of the Services Contract (see Attachment 1). Project shall be completed in one, continuous block of time at the project site between the hours of 8-5pm Monday through Friday until the Services are completed and accepted by OLCC.
