About this file
This document is an Addendum #2 for Request for Qualifications (RFQ-25-6) issued by the Canaveral Port Authority in Florida, pertaining to Biological and Ecological Services for a Continuing Contract. The addendum, dated April 23, 2025, modifies two key sections of the original solicitation: updating the minimum criteria to require firms have at least ten (10) years of biological and ecological consulting experience, and clarifying that reference letters must be dated within three (3) years of the solicitation. The document is being released via VendorLink and requires bidders to acknowledge receipt of the addendum on their Bid Form.
The addendum does not introduce substantial changes to the overall procurement, which seeks multiple consulting firms to provide comprehensive environmental services including wetland delineation, endangered species consultation, aquatic vegetation control, greenhouse gas assessment, underwater noise evaluation, and environmental regulatory compliance. The solicitation encourages firms without complete in-house expertise to apply collaboratively, with a selection process that will evaluate submissions using a 100-point scoring system. Sealed qualifications are due on May 6, 2025, with a selection committee review scheduled for May 13, 2025, potential oral interviews on May 20, 2025, and a final ranking presentation to the CPA Board of Commissioners on June 4, 2025.
