About this file

This is Addendum #1 to Request for Quote (RFQ) 25-079-RM issued by Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) in Florida on November 13, 2025, for Hazardous Waste Disposal Services. The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide hazardous waste disposal services on an as-needed, fixed-price basis. The waste materials include photocells, mixed paints (in 1-gallon or 5-gallon cans placed in 55-gallon drums and bulk liquid), and other hazardous materials already packaged in 35-gallon or 55-gallon steel drums. Pickup will occur at a single location: 2850 N. John Young Parkway, Kissimmee, Florida 34741. The pickup frequency is preferably monthly but may be bi-monthly depending on material accumulation. The contract term is three years with two optional one-year renewal periods at KUA's discretion. Work will commence upon contract execution by both parties.

Unit pricing must be all-inclusive of labor, materials, disposal or recycling, and transportation costs. KUA does not currently have an active contract for these services. The Public Entity Crimes and Scrutinized Companies attestation is not required to be notarized for this project due to the anticipated cost being below $1 million. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by signing and returning the acknowledgment form with their bid response. All information in this addendum is incorporated into the solicitation and supersedes any verbal instructions previously provided to proposers.
