About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for Request for Quote (RFQ) 25-060-JG issued by the Kissimmee Utility Authority (KUA) for the purchase of two radiator pumps for 230kV Transformers at Marydia Substation No. 01. The addendum addresses questions from potential bidders regarding the procurement, specifically clarifying the transformer's serial number (623-02 31005661) and noting that the original McGraw oil pumps are no longer manufactured, requiring an updated replacement that will need KUA's approval. The document provides limited technical details, indicating that the fluid (oil) temperature can range between 30 to 60 degrees Celsius, and requests bidders to acknowledge receipt of the addendum by signing and returning the form with their bid response.
The addendum does not specify pricing terms, set-asides, or funding sources, but it is part of a rebid process for replacing existing transformer radiator oil pumps. Bidders are required to provide a replacement pump that meets the existing specifications, with KUA reserving the right to review and approve the proposed alternative. The solicitation appears to be a straightforward procurement seeking to maintain critical infrastructure for the utility's electrical system, with an emphasis on precise technical compatibility and operational requirements.
