About this file

This document is Addendum No. 2 for RFP-25-034-KY issued by the City of Altamonte Springs, Florida, relating to a Conference Room Audio-Visual System Installation project. The addendum, dated May 7, 2025, introduces a new requirement for a maintenance bond, which will be mandatory for the selected contractor. Specifically, upon project completion and before final payment, the contractor must provide a maintenance bond equal to 10% of the contract amount, guaranteeing repair or replacement of work for a two-year period after project completion.

The maintenance bond must be obtained through a surety bond agency acceptable to the City, and the Surety Company is required to provide its address and local agent contact information. Bidders are instructed to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by indicating it on their Proposal Bid Form, either by signing and returning the addendum in a sealed envelope or by revising their electronic submission. The City considers the submission of a bid as an automatic acknowledgment of the addendum, and all bidders are expected to incorporate these new requirements into their proposals for the audio-visual system installation project.
