About this file

The document is a Request for Quote (RFQ) #RFQ-2025-3089 issued by The School Board of Volusia County, Florida, soliciting quotes for vehicle shelving and roof rack installation services. The RFQ seeks a contractor to provide materials, labor, tools, and supplies to fabricate, deliver, and install vehicle shelving packages and roof rack equipment for the district's maintenance vans. Specifically, the project requires three Holman Shelving Quick Package Pro installations for Transit 148" WB Mid Roof vans, four Holman Drop Down HD Aluminum Ladder Racks for Low Roof Transit & NV, GM vehicles, and three Holman Drop Down HD Aluminum Ladder Racks for Mid/High Roof Transit, NV, Sprinter, and ProMaster vehicles. The quote submissions were due on March 28, 2025, at 2:30 PM EST, with electronic submissions required through VendorLink.

The contract will be awarded to the most responsive and responsible vendor offering the lowest price, with additional evaluation factors including proximity (vendor must have a business location within 50 miles of the district's Transportation Department) and delivery timeline. Awarded contractors must provide proof of Liability Insurance, including $1,000,000 per occurrence for Commercial General Liability and $2,000,000 for Comprehensive Automobile coverage if transportation services are provided. The RFQ includes several required attachments: a Vendor Application Packet, Price Schedule Submittal Form, and a Contracted Services Agreement template. Vendors must also submit exhibits detailing the specific shelving and ladder rack configurations, and the district reserves the right to request clarifications and additional information after quote submission.
