About this file

This document is a set of clarifying questions and answers for Request for Quotes (RFQ) #2025-17 issued by Clackamas County, Oregon, for the McBrod Stabilization Low Voltage Wiring project located at 9200 SE McBrod. The RFQ seeks a low voltage contractor to handle building penetrations, raceways, and conduits for data, voice, and network infrastructure, with Johnson Controls separately managing access control and fire alarm wiring on a turn-key basis. The clarification document addresses specific technical questions from potential bidders about the project's scope, including cabling requirements, demarc relocation, and infrastructure specifications.

The document indicates that Clackamas County will handle its own fiber and network switch relocation, while the selected low voltage contractor will be responsible for moving remaining equipment from the current demarc closet to a new MDF layout location. The contractor must provide a minimum of 1-inch conduits for data/voice outlets and coordinate with existing infrastructure providers. No specific pricing, funding sources, or contract term details are provided in this clarification document, which serves primarily to provide technical guidance and answer bidder inquiries about the project's technical requirements and scope of work.
