About this file
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the National Forest Service of North Carolina for four Utility Task Vehicles (UTVs). The solicitation seeks to replace multiple off-highway vehicles for trail maintenance and prescribed fire activities, with specific requirements for four different vehicle configurations: a 5-passenger 4x4 gas UTV, a 6-passenger 4x4 gas UTV, and two additional vehicles with varying passenger capacities. The procurement is set aside for full and open competition, and multiple awards may be made. Vendors must submit pricing and are required to accept trade-ins for each quoted item.
Key details include delivery to two locations in North Carolina (Asheville and Murphy), with delivery requested as soon as possible. The solicitation requires vendors to have an active System for Award Management (SAM) registration and to submit a price proposal with an estimated delivery timeframe. Offers must be submitted electronically to Thomas Wolterman at thomas.wolterman@usda.gov by September 24, 2025, at 3:00 PM EST.
