About this file
This document is Addendum #1 for Request for Proposal (RFP) S-62900-00013094 issued by the Oregon Department of Forestry for a Type 3 Standard Category Turbine Powered Helicopter. The addendum modifies key sections of the original RFP, specifically reducing the minimum payload requirement from 850 pounds to 800 pounds across multiple sections, including Minimum Qualifications, Helicopter Requirements, and Aircraft Performance Desirable Features. These modifications impact the technical specifications for the helicopter to be used in wildland fire suppression operations, affecting how proposers will demonstrate aircraft capabilities and how points will be awarded for payload performance.
The addendum provides updated language for calculating performance points, with proposers now receiving 5 points for every 100-pound increment above the new 800-pound minimum payload. The document also lists revised attachments that will accompany the updated RFP, including the Sample Contract, Disclosure Exemption, Proposer Information, References, Price Proposal, and other supporting documents. Protests to this addendum must be submitted following the same procedures outlined in the original RFP Section 4.4.2, ensuring continuity in the procurement process and maintaining the established guidelines for potential challenges to the solicitation.
