TECHNICAL QUESTIONS DEADLINE: OCTOBER 16, 2023

B. Respond to questions received to date below:

1. In section 2 Project Overview Selection Details for Technical Requirements IV 4.2.3 it states that you are requesting Superintendents and Craft Professionals resumes. Is this for the subcontractor's superintendent resumes, I see you are requesting superintendents' resumes again in section 4.3.3. Not sure if that is a duplicate request for our team superintendents or not. Please clarify.

RESPONSE: One resume for the subcontractor’s superintendent is acceptable to be included in the proposal submission and will satisfy both requirements. Examples of resumes we are seeking include the subcontractor’s project management team generally employed on a construction project i.e. -superintendent, safety professional, and project manager. Lower tier project management resumes are mailto:Darcy.Montgomery@nrel.gov not required for proposal submission.

2. In section 2 Project Overview Selection Details for Technical Requirements it states #2 schedule.

Are you requesting a project schedule for proposal submission, or is this just for information? I saw it but didn’t have a submission requirements box. I just want to make sure. Please clarify if a project schedule is required for submission.

RESPONSE: Please provide a schedule based on your best forecast which includes your trade partnership’s ability to meet material and services requirements needed to meet the project objectives.

3. Is there a Bid Guarantee (Bid Bond) Required for proposal submission?

RESPONSE: No.

4. Section 4.1.4 and 4.1.6 look like they may be requesting the same thing. Would it be ok to submit the same projects in section 4.1.4 and 4.1.6?

RESPONSE: Yes. Please provide information that accurately reflects your organization’s ability to perform the work requirement, which will satisfy each of the best value criteria listed above.
