About this file

This document is an Addendum 1 for Request for Proposal (RFP) PW-2025-04 issued by the Pagosa Springs Public Works Department in Colorado, addressing a question from a potential bidder regarding project plans and specifications. The addendum clarifies that specifications were originally listed in the RFQ as written on plans, and the plans were initially not posted to avoid confusion about quantities. The Reference Line Table originally listed a total footage of 839.08 lineal feet (419.54 feed and 419.54 return), with additional footage needed to complete the tie-in beyond what was listed on the table, which explains the 1000 linear feet referenced in the RFQ.

The addendum confirms that project plans are now posted to Bidnet, providing potential bidders with the necessary documentation to proceed with their proposal preparation. The document is signed by Karl Johnson, Public Works Director for the Town of Pagosa Springs, and dated March 7, 2024, indicating this is a recent update to the ongoing procurement process for what appears to be the TOPS 2025 Geothermal Hwy 160 Crossing Improvement Project involving 8-inch insulated HDPE piping, fittings, and a fusing machine.

Re: Addendum 1 RFP PW-2025-04

Question: Potential bidder noted there was no plans or specifications listed with RFQ.

Answer: Specification was listed in RFQ as written on plans. Plans were not posted in order to not create confusion on quantities with The Reference Line Table listing a total footage of 839.08 lineal feet (419.54 feed and 419.54 return). Additional footage is needed to complete the tie-in other than what is listed on the

Table. That is the reason for the 1000 lf in RFQ.

Plans are now posted to Bidnet.

Sincerely, Karl Johnson

Public Works Director

Town of Pagosa Springs
