The contract term extends through issuance of the final project Certificate for Payment or ninety days after substantial completion, with County discretion to extend on identical terms.
Pricing must be submitted as lump-sum fees for each service phase, with all-inclusive costs covering travel, expenses, communications, and labor. Offerors must provide hourly rate schedules for calendar years 2026-2030 for potential additional services, anticipated reimbursables schedules, and in-house reproduction fee schedules. Reimbursable fees for permits and authority approvals are reimbursed at cost, postage at cost plus ten percent, and in-house reproductions at applicable scheduled rates, while out-sourced reproductions are reimbursed at cost plus ten percent. The estimated Railroad permitting, inspection, and flagging budget is $20,000.00, to be reimbursed with no mark-up. No bonding is required. Any and all stated exceptions to the form contract (and form BAA, if applicable) are subject to negotiation by and final approval of the County Attorney. Exceptions not raised in the proposal as provided herein, but later raised during contract negotiations, will not be considered by the County, unless consideration of same is determined by the County Attorney, in his sole discretion, to be in the best interests of the County.
