About this file
This document is an Amendment #1 to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the State of Alaska's AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) for Pharmacy Services. The RFP seeks a pharmacy provider who can fulfill the requirements, which include serving vulnerable individuals, such as low-income and uninsured patients, and helping them achieve viral suppression. The budget outlined in the RFP does not include the cost of drugs, as the state utilizes MMCAP Infuse to access a wholesale pharmaceutical company for all ADAP drug purchases.
The second document is a separate State and Local Contract Opportunity in Alaska for up to 50 Community Residential Center (CRC) service beds in Bethel, Alaska. The Alaska Department of Corrections is soliciting proposals for this contract, and interested parties should contact the Procurement Manager, Michael Lim, for more information and to receive any subsequent amendments to the RFP.

RFP 2025-1600-0096 / 1625-023
AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Pharmacy Services
AMD#1 - 9/16/2024
Response: Alaska is looking for a pharmacy provider who can fulfil the requirements of the RFP. This service is to provide vulnerable individuals (low income, without insurance, etc.,) with very complex medication needs to achieve viral suppression. The pharmacy will be required to consult with Alaska resident patients.
Response: No. The State of Alaska utilizes MMCAP Infuse, to access a wholesale pharmaceutical company for all ADAP drug purchases. Therefore, ADAP drug costs would incur through a separate mechanism outside of the resultant contract from this solicitation.
