The addendum provides clarifications and answers to bidder questions, with the bid due date set for Friday, March 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM. The project involves designing a 100' x 60' pole barn with four potential alternates: emergency shower/eyewash, ventilation fan, overhang and fenced storage area, and two additional bays for Hazmat vehicles. The solicitation seeks architectural and engineering services for the design, with professional liability insurance required.

The total project budget is $1,223,400, which includes the base bid and solar/alternative energy components. The project will require compliance with Washtenaw County Water Resources Department regulations for stormwater management. The design specifications include maintaining a minimum 50-degree temperature, incorporating windows for an office area, and utilizing existing utilities (heat/water/gas). The project does not require a generator, landscaping, or gas options. Bidders will need to review attached documents including a site survey, topographical survey, and soil boring report. Federal funding is involved, which may necessitate an active SAM (System for Award Management) registration for bidders.
