About this file
This document is a set of Questions and Answers related to RFP 44DOC-S2838 for Staffing Analysis Services issued by the Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC). The RFP seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive staffing analysis services for NDOC's correctional facilities, including reviewing existing staffing levels, recommending optimal staffing based on best practices, developing standardized staffing patterns, and conducting security post prioritization studies. The contract term is one year, and proposals are due by September 18, 2024, with an estimated award date of November 4, 2024, subject to Board of Examiners approval. The Q&A covers details such as site visits, facility information, data availability, staff interview access, and the scope of services, which includes analysis of security, medical, mental health, education, and programming staff.
The RFP budgets $395,000 for this contract. The State will apply a 5% preference for Nevada-based businesses and an inverse preference for vendors from states that do not afford the same preference to Nevada vendors. Vendors must comply with mandatory requirements such as not engaging in a boycott of Israel and agreeing to the State's indemnification and limited liability terms. The State has not provided information about any set-aside designations, incumbent vendors, or existing infrastructure that may require integration.
