RFP-26-013-KY PYROTECHNIC SHOWS
On October 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Altamonte Springs, Florida, one proposal for the above referenced solicitation was received and opened in the Procurement Division.
This notice serves as official notification that the City of Altamonte Springs intends to award the above referenced project to the following Proposer, in the best interest of the City:

SUBJECT: Solicitation Award for Pyrotechnic Shows at Cranes Roost Park for City Events, RFP-26-013-KY
SUMMARY EXPLANATION & BACKGROUND:
On October 1, 2025, a Request for Proposal (RFP) was issued to solicit proposals from experienced and well-qualified firms to produce, program, store, wire and electronically-fire choreographed pyrotechnic (firework) displays at Cranes Roost Park for Red, Hot and Boom, Light Up the Holidays and other key City events.
On October 24, 2025, the Procurement Division received and opened one proposal. The proposal was deemed to be complete and responsive.
An evaluation committee consisting of members of the Technology, Communication and Strategic Initiatives Department along with a member of the Building and Fire Safety Department evaluated the proposal for conformance to the criteria established in the solicitation document. The Committee members unanimously agreed to recommend Pyro Shows, Inc. for an award for this solicitation in the amount of $107,250 for annual services.
The initial term of this agreement will begin January 1, 2026, and will end on December 31, 2026, with the option to renew the agreement for up to four additional one-year terms.
FISCAL INFORMATION: Sufficient funds are available in the budget.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Award solicitation RFP-26-013-KY to Pyro Shows, Inc. for Pyrotechnic Shows, allow City staff to negotiate a contract and authorize the Mayor to execute the contract upon finalization.
