About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP No. 250000001038) issued by Michigan.gov/MiProcurement for a Digital Microfilm Scanner Full-Service Preventative Maintenance Agreement. The RFP involves maintenance services for existing microfilm scanning equipment at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Vital Records Control, which currently has seven total units (four within a 3-year warranty period and three outside of warranty). The proposal seeks pricing for annual maintenance during and after the warranty period, as well as on-site repair services.
The pricing schedule requires contractors to submit comprehensive pricing that includes all potential costs such as setup charges, shipping, handling, and per-piece pricing. The State of Michigan reserves the right to modify contract items to accommodate future needs for Michigan and potential MiDeal members, other states, or political subdivisions. Preference will be given to bidders who can provide both scanning equipment and full-service preventative maintenance. Contractors must certify that their proposed prices were developed independently, without communication or agreement with other potential bidders.
