About this file

This memorandum is from the City of Altamonte Springs Leisure Services Department regarding RFP-25-043-KY for Recreation Program Services. The procurement seeks vendors to provide recreational programming across multiple service groups, specifically Aquatics, Preschool Multisport, and Pickleball. An Evaluation Committee reviewed proposals and recommends awarding contracts to three different firms: Parnell, Inc. (Patriot Aquatics) for Aquatics, CFL Amazing Bunin Athletics, LLC (Amazing Athletes of Central Florida) for Preschool Multisport, and Everything Racket Sports, LLC for Pickleball. Two service groups (Tennis and ESports) will not be awarded, with Tennis receiving a non-responsive proposal and ESports receiving no proposals.

The Recreation Program Services are designed to be revenue-generating and will not incur costs for the City. Upon contract execution, the Leisure Services Department plans to meet with each awarded firm to negotiate and refine program offerings. The solicitation aims to establish service providers for various recreational activities, with the intent of creating programs that can be self-sustaining and potentially provide additional revenue for the city. The memorandum indicates a strategic approach to outsourcing recreational programming, allowing specialized vendors to develop and manage different sports and activity programs for the community.
