About this file

This is an Addendum No. 3 to RFP 2026-04 issued by the City of Hinesville, Georgia, for the design, provision, and installation of a universally inclusive, ADA-accessible playground and play structure at Irene B. Thomas Park. The addendum revises the proposal submission deadline from the original March 23, 2026, to April 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST. All proposals must be sealed and submitted to City Hall by the revised closing date; proposals may be mailed or hand-delivered. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was scheduled for March 12, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST at the project site (700 Sharon Street, Hinesville, Georgia 31313) to allow bidders to assess the location and clarify project requirements. Any proposals or unsolicited amendments arriving after the April 3, 2026, deadline will be automatically disqualified and not considered, regardless of the reason for lateness.

No specific pricing terms, set-asides, incumbent vendors, or funding amounts are detailed in this addendum. The revision represents a change to the original RFP timeline, extending the submission period by eleven days to accommodate bidders' preparation needs. Qualified playground equipment providers with demonstrated technical capability, prior experience with ADA-compliant installations, and the ability to manage both design and installation phases are sought to complete this comprehensive project.
