About this file

This is Amendment Number One to RFP 2026-0001-0248 issued by the State of Alaska, Office of the Lieutenant Governor, Division of Administrative Services, dated March 18, 2026. The amendment addresses a question from an offeror regarding ballot packaging and mailing services for vote-by-mail ballots. The offeror inquired whether the state would be interested in packaging and mailing services beyond the standard ballot printing and insertion into envelopes currently performed for jurisdictions including Anchorage and Juneau. The State of Alaska clarified that ballot packaging and mailing services do not apply to this solicitation and would require a separate RFP if the state wished to pursue such services.

This is a non-mandatory return amendment that serves solely to provide answers to offeror inquiries. The response was issued by Jared Miller, Procurement Officer, and clarifies the scope of work under the Statewide Election Ballots RFP. No changes to submission deadlines, pricing terms, contract terms, or other solicitation requirements are indicated in this amendment.

STATE OF ALASKA RFP NUMBER 2026-0001-0248

AMENDMENT NUMBER ONE

AMENDMENT ISSUING OFFICE:

THIS IS NOT AN ORDER DATE AMENDMENT ISSUED: March 18, 2026

This is not a mandatory return Amendment.

This amendment serves to answer an offerors question.

Please closely review all the changes identified and provided in the amendment.

Change 1: Answers offerors questions.

Our company prints and mails ballots for all of the jurisdictions we work with, including Anchorage and Juneau. We don't normally package up vote by mail ballots as we generally are inserting them directly into envelopes and mailing them. Is this a service the state would be interested in? Or is that a separate RFP?

ANSWER:

No, this would not apply to this solicitation.
