About this file

This document is a Notice of Intent to Award from the City of Casselberry's Procurement and Contract Management Division for RFP-2025-1312, a project involving the demolition of the Old Police Department. The City intends to award the contract to Samsula Demolition on July 17, 2025, subject to final approval by the City Commission. The notice outlines the preliminary steps in the procurement process and emphasizes that no legal rights are established until a formal agreement is executed.

The document provides details about the potential contract award, including provisions for protest by other bidders and the City's reserved rights. Specifically, if the apparent successful bidder fails to accept or negotiate the agreement, the City can rescind the award, proceed to the next lowest bidder, reject all bids, cancel the solicitation, or re-solicit. Bidders who wish to contest the award must file a written Notice of Award Protest with the Procurement and Contract Management Division by 5:00 pm on the third business day after the notice is posted, with the caveat that the protester must demonstrate they would be awarded the contract if their protest is upheld.
