About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for RFP-2025-1241 Utility Line Locating Services issued by the City of Casselberry Procurement Division in Florida. The addendum provides clarification and answers to potential bidders' questions about the utility line locating services contract. The solicitation response is due on Thursday, August 7, 2025, before 2:00 p.m., and the contract term appears to be three years with potential amendments. The City seeks a contractor to perform utility line locating services using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and locating transmitter/receiver, with 100% of locates requiring GPR.
Key contract details include that the City will provide maps, tickets, paint, and flags, and expects the contractor to complete tickets according to Florida Statute 556.114. The pricing will be fixed for the first three years, with potential increases in Amendment Nos. 1 and 2 referenced to the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The City will typically notify the contractor two business days in advance of needed assistance, and the contractor is expected to locate as much as possible within the same workday. No photos are required, soft digging will be by hand, and traffic control is not necessary, though safety protocols must be maintained during locating.
