About this file
This is a Notice of Intent (NOI) document for RFP 00002556 issued by the City of Portland, Oregon, for On-Call Course Management and Event Coordination services. The City seeks qualified proposers with demonstrated experience in volunteer coordination and event management for large-scale events. The scope of work encompasses volunteer recruitment, on-street event course management, and temporary traffic control deployment to support event operations. The NOI establishes the City's intent to solicit competitive proposals from qualified vendors capable of managing these complex event logistics and volunteer operations.
The document serves as formal notification to the contracting market of the City's procurement needs prior to the release of the full request for proposals. This NOI allows interested vendors to prepare for submission of detailed proposals and provides an opportunity for potential bidders to clarify requirements or identify any necessary site visits or pre-proposal meetings. The procurement follows standard competitive bidding procedures for the City of Portland and will result in an on-call contract structure, allowing the City flexibility in utilizing selected vendors for event management and volunteer coordination services on an as-needed basis.
