About this file
This document is a Market Research Survey Request for Information (RFI) for Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) in Alaska, issued by the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM). The RFI seeks to gather detailed market intelligence from potential contractors about their capabilities to provide stevedoring services, with a focus on operational readiness, labor resources, equipment availability, and past performance. Key survey questions probe contractors' ability to handle military vehicle logistics, container and cargo management, compliance with local regulations, and operational timelines.
The anticipated contract is an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) with a base performance period from 15 May 2026 to 14 May 2031, including a potential six-month extension. Contractors are required to complete a comprehensive survey addressing topics such as registration status, service capabilities, international contract experience, labor resources, pricing preferences, recent similar project histories, and potential competitive barriers. Responses must be submitted via email to Kelsy Burris and Connor Breyer by 6:00 A.M. CDT on 16 June 2025, with the understanding that this sources sought notice is for informational purposes only and does not guarantee contract award.
