About this file

The City of Cocoa, Florida has issued a Request for Information (RFI) for Resin Rebed and Maintenance Services for Kinetico CP216S water softener systems. The RFI seeks to identify qualified vendors to perform comprehensive maintenance on four water softener units, including resin rebed, valve head cleaning, and component replacement. Vendors are requested to submit their capabilities and information through the bidding platform by September 30, 2025, with the goal of gathering information and identifying potential service providers. The scope of work involves removing and replacing exhausted resin, cleaning valve components, inspecting internal mechanisms, and ensuring proper system functionality.

The RFI requires interested vendors to provide a capabilities statement, estimated service timeframe, copies of relevant licenses and certifications, at least two references from similar projects, and company contact information. Vendors are also asked to share additional details about warranties, resin specifications, and value-added services. This is an information-gathering exercise and not a formal solicitation for pricing or a commitment to purchase. The City of Cocoa intends to review submissions and potentially schedule follow-up appointments with selected vendors to discuss the water softener maintenance services in more detail.
